Stock setup does not allow use of emergency flashers without key turned on Harness is "Plug and Play" into the bike's turn signal flasher and takes power directly from the battery. After installing  harness you will be able to run the 4 ways without the key.  The switch shown mounts inside the left fairing pocket.  After turning it on, it will allow you to turn on the hazard lights via the OEM switch.
